Today we were doing capentry at the workshop. Sondela wants us to do a handyman course for us to be multy skilled. It will serve as an advantage for us in future. Next time our group will be doing plumbing.

Today we were at Sehoale installing a distribution board and connecting the power supply. We drilled the wall first the mounted the db, we used a 20A, 10A and 5A circuit breakers for the lights and plugs. We connected them separately not using a mixed circuit.
We are going to start with a new manual which is maintain and adapt oral communication.

Today we were at Wild Life Center doing maitenance and inspection.
We replaced 5 flush lights outside the students house.
We cleaned all the fluorescent covers and replaced 4 12v halogen lights

We went to Lethabo Power station somewhere around Vereeneging for a day tour. I saw many fascinating stuff such as boilers, generators and turbines, it was a great experience for all of us. They said that it took about 10years to build a powerstation and they completed the station in 1990. They use coal for the station because its cheap and it was the nearest coal mine they could find.
Coal is used to burn water which changes into steam, the steam turns the turbine blades, the turbine blades turns the generator then the generates electricity.

Today we were doing maitenance and inspection at the guest house, picinini's, caravan park and moselesele.
We replaced 1 white energy saver ES, 4 halogen lights and 1 candle light ES at the guest house.
Replaced 4 SES candle lights at picinini's.
Replaced 1 yellow energy saver ES at caravan park.

Today we were at the MD's house again doing maintenance and inspection.
We changed a broken halogen light inside the bar
We replaced 3 big spotlight outside the house
We changed 2 halogen lights outside the kitchen area
We replaced a transformer for the halogen lights inside the kitchen

Today we were doing maintenance and inspection at the guest house.
Also did maitenance at the Managing Director's house. We replaced 60w spotlight and repaired a light fitting that was broken.

Trench at Sexwale

Today we were digging a trench at Sexwale of about 15m because it on top of the ground. It was not safe as everybody was walking over it.
We started on a new manual of mathematics with Ms Heidi

Today wasn't that busy, we had to change a day night light switch at the caravan park which we changed a week ago, maybe it was because it wasn't of high quality(cheap).
There still is another light which isn't working next to the tuck-shop but our supervisor said that we'll fix it the coming week. We came up with an idea of moving it to a tree next to the pole the light was installed because that pole is old and it can collapse any time but he said that he must ask his seniors first.

I was off on Monday so i had to do the assessment on my own today, the ones on electronics was hard because our facilitator didn't know anything about it. Damn me for neglecting it.

TODAY IT WAS A VERY BUSY DAY,INSTALLING NEW LIGHTS AND FIXING DAMAGED ONES AS WE ALL KNOW THAT IN SONDELA THE WORK NEVER STOPS NOT UNTIL MEL SAY SO.
